Terms and Conditions

1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed by the customer at Maria Home via our website. Maria Home is operated from Kristianstad, Skåne County, Sweden. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Orders and Pricing
All prices are displayed including applicable VAT. Depending on your location and selected language, prices may be displayed in SEK, EUR. We reserve the right to adjust prices, correct pricing errors, and cancel orders resulting from such errors. An order is only binding once you receive an official order confirmation via email.
3. Payment
We offer secure checkout through authorized third-party payment providers. Maria Home does not store your credit card information. Payment must be completed before the dispatch of large furniture items, including beds and sofas.
4. Shipping and Delivery
We deliver to selected regions as indicated at checkout. Delivery times are estimates, particularly for large freight items like solid oak beds, sofas, and oversized carpets. You will be notified of any significant delays. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is accessible for freight carriers and that someone is available to receive the delivery.
5. Returns and Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with EU consumer protection laws, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your goods. The item must be returned in its original condition. For hygiene and safety reasons, beds, mattresses, and certain textiles must be unused and in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, which can be substantial for large furniture.
6. Claims and Warranty
We stand by the craftsmanship of our furniture. Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act, you have a three-year right to complain about original manufacturing defects. If a product is faulty upon arrival, please contact our support team immediately with your order number and photos of the defect.
7. Uncollected Deliveries
If a delivery is returned to us because it was not collected or received by the customer at the agreed time, we reserve the right to charge a fee to cover the return freight and administrative costs.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall be resolved primarily through agreement with our customer service, or alternatively by the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) in Sweden, or the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform.
